WorldMate Comes to Mio DigiWalkers
The Leading Travel Application Will Be in Embedded in the Latest Personal Navigation Device
WorldMate, the world’s leading mobile travel service will be pre-installed in personal navigation devices from Mio. The Mio DigiWalker H610 will include a customized version of WorldMate, designed especially for this device’s unique form factor and the needs of its users. The H610 is the first personal navigation device (PND) to feature WorldMate and will enable its users to enjoy the many benefits of the service; including world clocks, weather forecasts and access many other travel utilities.
To support the H610, MobiMate ported WorldMate to the Windows CE 4.1 operating system, prevalent in many embedded devices including several personal navigation devices. A special finger-operated user interface was designed as well as a complementary PC application providing online connectivity to MobiMate’s online services. This extends the availability of the WorldMate platform beyond cellular phones and PDAs to new categories of mobile devices.

WorldMate for Mio H610 includes World Clocks, weather forecasts, a Currency Converter with a currency rate download service, size and measurement converters, a calculator, a Day/Night world map, a packing list organizer and several other features.
